Marcus Donald are now searching for a Data Protection Adviser to join a client based in Yeovil on a permanent basis.

In this role you will be working for a business who have recently gone through a successful merger, opening the opportunity to grow and learn within the organization.

Key Skills as Data Protection Adviser

• GDPR
• DPA 2018
• Data Privacy Impact Assessments
• Subject Access Request
• Reporting Data Protection compliance
• Contract, policy, and procedure evaluations (Advantageous)
• Data Protection certifications (Advantageous)

Key Responsibilities as Data Protection Adviser

• Assisting with Subject Access Requests and Data Privacy Impact Assessments
• Liaising and assisting various teams across the business on a regular basis
• Assisting with the training of staff on Data Protection
• Reviewing existing contracts and work with Procurement and IT
• Assisting with the drafting and reviewing of data sharing and data processing agreements
• Maintaining compliance and accountability registers
• Documenting and embedding contractual processes for data protection
