Marcus Donald are working with a client based in the City of London who are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineers. The client has an enterprise scale AWS Infrastructure and are looking to build it using secure pipelines. Commercial experience doing this is essential for the succesful candidate.

The client is eventually looking to build a permanent team and are looking for candidates that are open to permanent oppourtunities after the initial 6 month contract.

Responsibilities for the Senior DevOps Engineer 

• Developing, modifying and supporting AWS services
• Implement logging and monitoring frameworks
• Building secure pipelines
• Revolutionise our use of Infrastructure focusing on testing and programming
• Research and Architect solutions
• Lead technical projects
• Continuous integration and continuous delivery processes
• Configuration management and infrastructure automation
• Managing its microservices to ensure availability, performance and scalability
• Linux server administration
