Marcus Donald are now searching for a Cyber Security Lead to join a client based in Bristol.

This is a very technical, hands on position and will require you to support the Head of Information Security in communicating technical jargon into terms that non-technical people will understand.

Key Skills as Cyber Security Lead

• SIEM tools
• Configuring DLP tools
• Azure/O365 experience
• Setting up monitoring tools
• McAfee Enterprise suite
• Working with third party specialists
• Certifications (CISSP, CISM, CRISC etc)
• ITIL Certified (Advantageous)

Key Responsibilities as Cyber Security Lead

• Acting as the SME during the design and implementation of new security products, policies and procedures
• Monitoring and developing threat intelligence feeds
• Performing audit and security compliance checks
• Vulnerability scanning, config reviews and network traffic analysing
• Making recommendations to Senior Management when researching security enhancements
• Performing risk assessments that support business requirements
• Recommending mitigations and countermeasures to address risks, vulnerabilities and threats to the business
• Monitoring and blocking malicious traffic through the network
• Identity and Access Management
• Developing patch management processes globally and monitoring the patching levels of servers, desktops and networking devices
• Aligning to InfoSec and Business Continuity Policy & Standards
• Designing cyber security awareness programmes
• Participating in audit and project management activities as and when required
• Analysing email and web-based threat defences
• Forensically investigating suspicious devices
