Marcus Donald are now searching for an Information Security Project Manager to join a client based in Farringdon.

In this role you will be managing the delivery of Information Security & Data Privacy work packages and projects across the business. These projects will encompass major dependency on both technology and business process change and will require skills ranging from transformational leadership to the day to day running of project delivery.

This is a brand-new role for a Microsoft Gold Partner using measures such as ISO 27001, GDPR and regulatory obligations as a guideline of requirements. This position supports the wider Information Security & Data Protection team and in doing so leads to the delivery of projects to align all business practice with these standards.

Key Responsibilities as Information Security Project Manager

• Working with specialists to engage across the business and ensure the delivery of goals and objectives
• Ensure the project embeds ISO 27001 compliant policies which are implemented into operational practice across the group with the necessary supporting inventories and reporting methods
• Agree project plans with stakeholders, track progress, advise on risk, drive decisions that the ISO 27001 alignment project continues to progress
• Resolving conflicts, resolve issues and act as a liaison between IS & DP specialists and the business
• Maintaining an IS & DP project plan and providing accurate and comprehensive reports that allow the effective governance of the InfoSec function
• Manage IS & DP governance meetings
• Liaise with internal auditors on IS & DP actions, internal stakeholders to ensure project actions are completed in line with timelines and re-planning project timelines if needed
• Identifying root-cause analysis associated to issues and communicating them
• Act as the conduit between the security team, business project team and technical consultants
