Senior DevOps Engineer 

Marcus Donald are working with a Technology company based in the Oxford who are looking to build a team of DevOps Engineers & Senior DevOps Engineers. The projects will involve automating, deploying applications into cloud-based Infrastructure on across AWS & Azure.

The ideal candidate will come from a Software Engineering background.

Key Skills for the Senior DevOps Engineer 

• AWS
• Terraform
• JavaScript frameworks
• Backend – Java, Go or Python
• CI/CD Pipelines & Git
• Modern scripting and programming languages

Advantageous skills for the Senior DevOps Engineer

• GCP / Azure
• Big Data – Hadoop, Spark or Hive
• Test Driven Design

Responsibilities for the Senior DevOps Engineer 

• Work on multiple projects within Cloud based Infrastructure at any one time
• Implement CI/CD pipelines
• Build automation supporting the management of AWS / Azure cloud services
• Design and build IaaC
• Operate and maintain software systems across SDLC
