IT Network & Security Analyst  

Marcus Donald are currently looking for a IT Network & Security Analyst to join a Financial Services client based near Cannon Street.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the Technical Infrastructure and Security of the platforms, environment and data are secure, performant, compliant and focused to provide a world class Customer experience for our many Customers both External and Internal to the Corporation.

Key skills required for IT Network & Security Analyst: 

• Excellent knowledge of LAN switching, IP routing, virtual private networks
• Hands on experience of Network monitoring and management
• Exposure to Load balancing and content switching (particularly NetScaler)
• Excellent knowledge of Internet technologies, protocols and applications
• Exposure to Information Security (particularly experience with Palo Alto next generation firewalls)
• Cloud technologies and connectivity (particularly Azure)
• Exposure to Data Centre design and transformation activities
• Fluent in Network and Security design principles, documentation and topologies
• Ensuring that new technology and Network & Security principles are relevant and road mapped
• Knowledge on ISO 27001
• CCNA Certified
• Cyber Essentials

Responsibilities required for IT Network & Security Analyst: 

• Support of their internal users
• Support, ongoing management, and development of their global network infrastructure.
• Implementation of new security initiatives to support their developing IT and information security policies.
• Enhancement of their cloud infrastructure to improve performance, availability and security whilst controlling cost.
