Marcus Donald are currently seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to join an established organisation based in Brighton. You will be working within a team of 6 on both projects and BAU work around the Linux environment.

Experience using Azure/AWS is advantageous however not essential for this position.

• Linux (Ubuntu)
• Apache
• PHP: set up, start/stop, configuration
• Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH
• Linux firewalls
• BASH scripting

Desirable skills Linux Systems Administrator

• Azure/AWS
• Ansible
• Python
• PHP Tuning

Responsibilities for the Linux Systems Administrator

• Monitor and maintain Linux environment
• General database administration and troubleshooting
• Supporting email systems (based on Sendmail and Postfix)
• Produce support documentation
• Work with team on upcoming Cloud based projects
