Marcus Donald are actively searching for a Cyber Security Consultant to join a client in the Financial Sector.

In this role you will be required to take responsibility for maintaining the safety of the online systems and networks as well as identifying and preventing cyber-attacks. As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will also be responsible for the assessment of in-house software and compiling current regulation frameworks, among other work.

Key Responsibilities as a Cyber Security Consultant

• Looking for vulnerabilities and risks in hardware and software.
• Closing off security vulnerabilities from potential threats or attempted breaches.
• Constantly monitoring for attacks and intrusions.
• Building firewalls into network infrastructures.
• Reporting directly to the CISO, ensuring that project and BAU work is running smooth and efficiently.
• Liaising with stakeholders and generating technical reports.
• Monitoring for abuse of permission.
