Marcus Donald are now searching for a Senior Data Business Analyst to join a client based in London.

In this role you will be responsible for acting as the interface with internal and external users of a new service that aims to conduct data exchange more efficiently between industry participants.

You will be working alongside SME’s, Architects and service users, ensuring you understand their needs and can write & spread clearly defined user stories.

Key Skills as Senior Data Business Analyst

• Excellent communication skills
• Writing up user stories clearly and accurately
• Technical understanding of SQL & Python
• Technical understanding of Data analysis, Synthesis & Modelling
• Understanding of principles of secure software development
• Stakeholder management
• Working in an Agile environment

Desirable Skills as a Senior Data Business Analyst

• Jira knowledge (or other PM tools)
• QlikSense, Tableau, Domo knowledge (or other BI tools)
• Working with privacy and information accreditation or assurance teams

Key Responsibilities as Senior Data Business Analyst

• Rolling out service pipelines, making prioritisation calls and leading business & tech teams
• Designing and detailing the end-to-end approach to data and digital platforms including data collection, ingestion, transformation and calculation
• Provide documentation to support knowledge retention and training to all technical levels
• Ensure that Data solutions address Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability, Authentication, Authorisation and Audit logging
• Encourage teamwork and communication with Architects, Data Engineers, QA’s and SME’s
• Ensuring principles of privacy and security are assessed and designed into data solutions
• Assure your work as well as colleagues meets governing standards
• Ensure user stories appropriately define technical requirements for Data Engineers, Security Engineers and QA Engineers to work to
• Ensuring that stakeholder needs are met, and their expectations managed, providing upskilling and training were appropriate
• Make sure business solutions comply with Privacy and Security requirements
