3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer

Marcus Donald are currently seeking a 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer to join a software company based in North London. As a 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for working alongside the Microsoft services team to provide high quality support to both internal and external customers. 

Ideally, my client is seeking an individual with experience working for a software company however this is not essential. 

Key responsibilities for the 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer

• Network troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Solution build and implementation
• Handling customer infrastructure alerts that affect system BAU operations
• Assisting and upskilling 1/2nd line support Engineers
• Being part of an extended hours call rota
• 3rd Line Support for all clients Infrastructure software issues
• Solution architecture and design
• Manage customer expectations and report back in a timely / professional fashion

Key skills required for the 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer

• An excellent communicator over the phone, via email and face to face
• Being productive and efficient
• Office 365, Exchange Online, Powershell
• Windows Server 2008 + 2012
• Active Directory & group policies
• Networking – DNS, DHCP, RDS
• VMware (5.5& 6.5)
• Enterprise scale Windows environment
• Anti-Virus
