Cloud & Office 365 Programme Manager

Marcus Donald are now searching for a Cloud & Office 365 Programme Manager to join an Oil & Energy client based in Canary Wharf.

In this role, you will ensure the successful delivery of the business’ technology vision and strategy by providing specialist expertise, knowledge and facilitation across all projects, specifically for the migration from on-premises to Office 365 environment and data centre migration.

Key Skills as a Cloud & Office 365 Programme Manager

  • Working within a large complex environment
  • Solid understanding of IT Operations, infrastructure processes and software development process,
  • Requirement gathering, analysis/design, development tools/technologies, release/version control, contemporary testing methodologies and deployment management
  • Agile, Waterfall and Prince2
  • Strong resource planning and management skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Managing projects to business requirements, specification, time and budget.
  • Supporting other project management and PMO colleagues to build a centre of excellence and best practice.

Key Responsibilities as a Cloud & Office 365 Programme Manager

  • Supporting the domain lead as SME collaborating in product vision, strategy, and roadmap definition for the Office 365 programme.
  • Support the strategy for the migration of internal Collaboration and Productivity Tools to a Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Supporting the implementation of workflow and other customized functionality in an Office 365 environment.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, defining and delivering solutions for Office 365 and other productivity tools.
  • Actively working towards ensuring all systems are user-friendly, high performing, high quality, modern applications.
  • Act as the liaison across different departments and teams
  • Develop product marketing materials, website content and user adoption/training programs.
  • Work with Microsoft to ensure regular effective communications and adoption of product releases.
  • Working with stakeholders and the delivery team to shape the direction of the projects and to identify key activities.
  • Ensure best practice, governance and knowledge sharing with the DDaT Project Management Office.
  • Guiding project team members through decision-making processes where necessary.
  • Undertake the role of the team's coach
  • Monitor project risk profiles and suggest mitigation strategies and to ensure that the risk and controls aspects have technical support as required.
