Marcus Donald are looking for an IT Security Manager to join a Charity based in South West London on a permanent basis.

In this role you will be responsible for the coordination and management of cyber security and associated risk management activities, act as the primary point of contact within the organisation for cyber security and to ensure the integrity, reliability and the security of the organisations data, systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities as an IT Security Manager

• Manage and provide effective leadership to internal and external teams in the delivery of cyber security tools, controls and actions to mitigate risk
• Advise on security concerns and recommendations with regard to the security of data, network and systems
• Ensure that appropriate technical and organisational measures are implemented to achieve data protection principles
• Develop policies, procedures and controls to ensure compliance with any applicable regulatory or legal requirements
• Establish and oversee a formal security vulnerability and penetration testing program
• Facilitate identification and discussion of cyber risk throughout the organisation and advise and implement security best practices and procedures during system integration and implementation
• Develop strategies and plans to enforce security requirements, address identified risks and communicate flaws in the security systems
• Troubleshoot and identify the root cause and lessons learnt for any security-related incidents
• Maintain an up to date knowledge on newly released security patches and monitor the patch management process
• Deploy and support Data Loss Protection solutions
