Marcus Donald are looking for an Information Security Manager to join a construction company in Surrey on a permanent basis.

In this role you will work closely with the Head of IT in ensuring the safety of systems as well as ensuring they remain compliant and manage identified risk.

Key Responsibilities as an Information Security Manager

• Monitor and report on compliance with security policies.
• Enforce of policies within the IT department.
• Improve existing policies and procedures to ensure the business is operating efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Develop a security program and security projects that address identified risks and business security requirements.
• Recommend and coordinate the implementation of technical controls to support and enforce security policies.
• Ensure that security is factored into the evaluation, selection, installation and configuration of hardware, applications and software.
• Liaise with 3rd party suppliers.
• Liaise with stakeholders on a regular basis, building relationships and managing expectations.
• Act as the subject matter expert on security.
• Provide training to internal users of all levels.
• Gather, analyse and assess the current and future threat landscape.
