IT Infrastructure Engineer

Senior Infrastructure Engineer 

Marcus Donald are currently looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a leading travel client in the heart of the West End. 

Key Skills required for Senior Infrastructure Engineer: 

• Server Virtualisation, preferably with HyperV
• Windows Server (including WSUS, IIS, AD, DNS, DHCP, Powershell)
• Networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, Switch configuration)
• Enterprise backup software solution
• IT security best practices (Firewalls, Antivirus, and Least Privilege).

Responsibilities required for Senior Infrastructure Engineer:

• Maintaining and developing the virtual infrastructure, which is currently based around HyperV 
• Managing the client's backup infrastructure (currently based around Microsoft DPM and Azure Backup)
• Supporting the server and network infrastructure, based predominantly around Windows Server and HP Procurve switches.
