2nd/ 3rd Line Support Engineer
Marcus Donald are currently looking for a 2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer to join a global, leading software company in Maidenhead.
You will be responsible for providing to over 4000 end users across Europe and the globe. As well as this you will be also be working closely with the Infrastructure Technical Specialist’s which would include you providing maintenance, support and system upgrades on a variety of systems and technologies based in 48 countries globally.
Key Skills required for 2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer:
- Windows 10
- Office 365/ Azure Admin
- Windows Server Administration
- Virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMware)
- Understanding of internet technologies (WWW/ FTP/ EMAIL/ TCP/IP/ VPN)
- Knowledge on Anti-Virus technologies
- EMC SAN Storage
Responsibilities for 2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer:
- Provide end-user desktop and server support
- Troubleshooting and manage environments including VMware vCentre, Windows Server, and back up technologies
- Monitor and maintain fileserver management; network shares and print servers
- When required, assist 1st Line, 2nd Line and COE with troubleshooting and manging server environments and or project deliveries.
- Interact with users to resolve IT related issues and provide IT Support in line with SLA's
