Infrastructure Engineer

Marcus Donald is currently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join a well-established organization specialising in the Marketing Industry based in Victoria, London. The client has worked with many big organizations from large to small allowing you to network and work with some great businesses. With this role you will be faced with around 70% project work and 30% BAU, allowing you to get some great skills and experience under your belt.

Established over 30 years ago, my client’s business has been brought from a team of 10 to a multi-national organization with around 4,000 employees around the globe. With this role you would be part of a team of 7 and reporting directly into the Infrastructure Manager.

This is a great opportunity to keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and systems. You will be encouraged to offer new ideas in regards to maintaining and improving the Infrastructure of the business. You will also be expected to ensure that all systems are running within the company’s practice.

Responsibilities for the Infrastructure Engineer

• Assist with projects within the team and ensure that delivery is to the businesses’ expectation and within an agreed time scale
• Run IT Health Checks within the business
• Suggesting and delivering new initiatives into the business
• Work alongside and oversee trusted 3rd party suppliers to supervise the network installation at various sites
