Cyber Security Pre-Sales Engineer

Marcus Donald are now looking for a Cyber Security Pre-Sales Engineer to join an MSP based in Cambridge and the City of London.

As a Cyber Security Pre-Sales Engineer, you will work in a consultative capacity within the Technical Field Sales Team, with a responsibility for supporting the Sales Team in the development of new business opportunities with new prospects and existing clients.

You will have a solid technical grounding in Cyber Security and IT Infrastructure Systems and you will have an ability to articulate complex technical solutions clearly and convincingly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Skills as a Cyber Security Pre-Sales Engineer

• Industry recognised IT security certifications, (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA etc..)
• Three years minimum experience in the Cyber Security/Information Technology, Solutions/Services sector
• Strong presentation skills; familiar with presenting at Board/C-Level
• Specific experience/understanding of AlienVault, Zscaler, Microsoft, Mimecast, Fortinet, SecurEnvoy, Knowbe4 (Desirable)
• Sector specific experience e.g. Financial Services, Construction, Aviation (Desirable)

Key Responsibilities as a Cyber Security Pre-Sales Engineer

• Support the Sales Team by driving technical sales engagement with client technical stakeholders, running technical workshop sessions, webinars and meetings.
• Support the Sales Team in the design and development of solutions to fit client needs in-line with the companies strategy.
• Support the Sales Team in the production of written technical proposals and quotations to the client.
• Work with the Engineering Team to understand and ensure proposed solutions match engineering capabilities.
