Senior Threat & Response Specialist

Marcus Donald are currently looking for Senior Threat & Response Specialist to join our client in the Telecommunications Industry.

They are looking for someone who can come in and become the number two for their Threat & Response operations. A senior member of the team, and ultimately someone who can be looked up to, presenting new ideas and ways to better the organisation a whole (from a security point of view).
This particular individual will be leading incidents, becoming an influential member of the team, and have the technical understanding to be able to influence the security operations for the business.

*Required in the London office 1 day a month*

Senior Threat & Response Specialist – Technical Responsibilities:

• Assist with the creation, maintenance, and delivery of cyber security awareness training for colleagues.
• In-depth Malware, Phishing, and Threat analysis
• Working with SIEM tools such as AlienVault & Splunk – Triaging and defining the appropriate response to incidents
• Vulnerability Management experience, using Nessus and Tenable Security Center
• Strong Networking experience
• Good Architecture & Design

Senior Threat & Response Specialist – Non-Technical Responsibilities:

• Present Ideas (With how it would help the business as well)
• Self-sufficient
• Work well both individually and in a team
• Ability to influence and lead
• Be someone who others can look up to
• Have a real interest in Security and Tech as a whole
