Description
Marcus Donald People have been asked to partner with a leading global professional services firm in the heart of the City (close to Liverpool Street).

Our client are hoping to source a Security Engineer who is in favour of working in the City. There is however, flexibility but preferably this isn’t fixed to certain days of the week. The minimum requirement to be in their Liverpool Street offices is 3 days per week however, some weeks you may need to be more present and therefore, commute every day.

Due to success and therefore predicted growth, there is a strong emphasis on expanding the Global Security Team and initially, a Security Engineer is required to join the London team.
This is more of a Security Engineering role & my client determines Security Engineering to be split up into 4 key area, these being...
- Network Security
- Microsoft Defender Stack
- SecOps
- Email Security
Now... We are only looking for an SME in ONE of the above areas.
Therefore, if you are a;
- Network Security Specialist and experienced with Cisco FMC, FTD/ASA Firewalls/IDS/IPS, Cisco ISE and Darktrace – Please apply
- Specialist with the Microsoft Defender Stack and experienced with Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, Defender for Identity, CASB, MFA, Azure, ATP, Intune, O365, SSO and IaaS, PaaS, SaaS – Please apply
- SecOps Specialist and experienced with QROC or Qradar on Cloud, Varonis DatAdvantage and Service Now – Please apply
- Email Security Specialist and experienced with Mimecast Email security gateways, Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and DMARC/DKIM/SPF – Please apply
Brief description of responsibilities and requirements can be found below (additional information and full job description available upon request):
- Assist GRC with performing vendor assessments and technical security risk reviews
- Contribute to the technical design of security systems and services to meet organizational needs whilst managing risks
- Day-to day administration of numerous security platforms used by SecEng and SOC teams
- Prior experience in Security Engineering and track record in carrying out technical security risk assessments
- Good understanding for how to assess third-party suppliers of cloud/SaaS based technology platforms
- Ability to participate in complex vendor troubleshooting calls and diagnose/resolve tool and policy issues
There will also be a necessity to support an on-call rotation which of course you will be paid for – additional information around on call allowance is available upon request.
