Data Protection Officer

Marcus Donald are currently looking for a Data Protection Officer for a leading Professional Services/Consulting firm that operate in many different sectors such as, Cyber & Digital, Energy, Health and Low Carbon/Clean Energy. * London office – close to Fenchurch Street however, flexible working is possible *
** £35,000 - £42,000 per annum + great benefits (mentioned below) **

If you are passionate about social and environmental performance of businesses (b-Corp) and would like to work for a company that cares, then look no further. You will be a real leader within the Data Privacy team with a clear career structure in place, both within the Data Privacy team and in the wider business.

Data Protection Officer – Responsibilities:

• Support Lead Consultants to deliver for their clients as required
• Support the business itself to manage its own data protection risks, assisting the DPO as required
• Support clients to understand their responsibilities and comply with their obligations in respect of data protection and privacy
• Work with senior Consultants to create and deliver a remediation plan for data protection risks, following the businesses approach
• Aware of key data protection legislation, particularly GDPR, PECR, DPDI and ePrivacy.

Data Protection Officer – Requirements:

• Proven working experience within data protection
• CIPP/E and CIPM or similar qualifications
• Experience of using privacy tools such as OneTrust is an advantage
