Marcus Donald are currently working with a consultancy who are looking for a Network engineer to Classified Infrastructure Team with responsibility for addressing infrastructure support issues, maintaining and managing the overall performance and availability of the Classified networks and other hosted systems
 
** Inside IR35 / £450 - £500 P/D **
** 6-Months Contract / Extension Available **
** Fully Remote / No Office Requirement **
 
Network Engineer – Main Responsibilities:

• Administering a virtualised production environment.
• Installation and support of hardware (including servers, thin clients, PC's, network hardware, printers, telephones).
• Support for Exchange, Active Directory, VMWare, SharePoint & Citrix platforms.
• Identify underlying problems discovered during day-to-day operations, raising them with the Classified Infrastructure Manager and managing them to resolution.
• Technical input into infrastructure changes following change management processes.

Network Engineer – Required:

• Experience with either/both Mellanox/Cisco network equipment.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP networking and IPsec technologies.
• Understanding of modern routing protocols (BGP etc)
• Ability to manage geographically diverse networks.
• Experience with Observium/NetQ monitoring solutions
• Previous experience working in a consultancy / MSP
