Marcus Donald are currently working with a Insurancorganization who are looking to bring in a Cloud Platform manager to lead a Cloud Engineer function.
 
** 6 Month Rolling Contract / Hybrid – Charing Cross **
** £600 - £700 P/D / Inside IR35 **
 
Cloud Platform Manager – Main Responsibilities:

• Lead a Cloud engineering function that focuses on the design, build and maintenance of core on-prem and Azure cloud platform enablers that serve multiple teams.
• Have a focus on the products and services to ensure that all SLA’s are hit
• Ensure our efficiency, agility, performance, availability and operational excellence are continually being improved
• Using your subject matter expertise to support and consult with the senior management team.
• Driving engineering excellence across your team by fostering modern engineering practices and processes

Cloud Platform Manager – Required:

• Leadership and an ability to drive IT initiatives
• Significant and broad public cloud experience at scale.
• Experience in a prominent technical leadership role as a manager or leader of technical engineers.
• Practical understanding of financial management in the Cloud
• Strong internal and external stakeholder management and presentation skills, including C-Suite communication and management of 3rd parties.
• Ability to navigate between strategic thinking and decision making, as well as operational and delivery management.
