Marcus Donald People are currently looking for an IT Project Manager to join a fantastic client within the pharmaceutical world. This is an initial 6 month contract with the view to extend due to the volume of projects within their current roadmap & future expectations.

* 6 month contract / Inside IR35 *
* £450 - £550 per day / At least one day per week in their London office (London Bridge) *

The company in question, in recent years have completed 6 acquisitions per year and have shown no signs of slowing down. Their goal is to firstly ensure HR, Finance, IT, On Prem, Hybrid, Cloud environments & all corporate systems are amalgamated – this along with your team, will be your responsibility.

IT Project Manager - Requirements

  • Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, including networking, servers, and storage.
  • Experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in a complex, multi-vendor environment
  • Manage multiple infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on-time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Must have a very strong Technical background - ideal candidate would have worked in a technical capacity previously
  • Need to have a good variety of Project Management experience across a variety of technology projects
  • Previous experience of working on Mergers & Acquisition M&A would be highly beneficial
  • Understanding of Security Controls within a Security Framework, (NIST, ISO, ISF, etc).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

As the Infrastructure Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and leading all aspects of infrastructure projects, including planning, budgeting, resourcing, risk management, and communication with stakeholders.

There will be tricky projects, for example moving one company who currently use Google Docs to SharePoint but that experience of working for an organisation who have acquire other businesses and you personally being involved in the process and completion of a successful consolidation of Systems, IT and Corporate systems is what will separate you from the rest.
