Information Security Graduate

Marcus Donald are currently looking for an Information Security Graduate to join our client within the Education sector.

We are looking for someone with either, a strong desire or knowledge to make a career in this area (Information Security). This will be (to begin with) a Junior role where there will be frequent repetitive tasks but due to the size of the team you will have the opportunity to learn a lot as opposed to joining a larger company & team – Amazing chance for the right person.

* Hybrid working – Every Monday & Tuesday in North London & 3 days remote *

• … a new graduate and hold a Technology focused degree and are looking for your first role within Information Security (GDPR, ISO, Data Privacy, Compliance etc.) OR;
• … someone with 1 or 2 years commercial experience under your belt and are looking for that next career move and therefore progression.

 
Information Security Graduate – Requirements:

• Very organized
• Very good written & verbal communication skills
• Confidently follow processes, with the responsibility of updating documentation
• Pragmatic, customer focused and have a can do attitude.
• A confident person who can be available or initiate conversations to discuss, answer and listen to colleagues and external parties on Data Privacy & Compliance
• You are passionate about having a Data Security & Compliance career
• You are results focused with a strong work ethic and effective in a busy environment.

Information Security Graduate – What does the future look like?

The successful candidate will get the opportunity to grow their career in a number of different areas of Data Privacy, GDPR, Compliance (ISO27001, SOX) and gain technical awareness of Information Security. Your future skillsets will include GDPR services i.e., Managing Incidents, DSARs, DPIAs. You will also gain skills and experience with PCI DSS, Data Privacy and Data Compliance. Your potential routes for progression include:

• Data Privacy & Compliance Analyst
• IT Compliance Manager
• Data Privacy Analyst
