Cyber Security Risk Analyst

Marcus Donald are currently looking for a new Cyber Security Risk Analyst to join our client in the Telecommunications Industry.

This role is offering almost a fully remote work environment (if wanted), there is however a requirement to come into the Hampshire office 1 day every month. With offices all over the UK I am sure there is an office a commutable distance from most if you preferred an office environment but that once a month in the Hampshire office is compulsory due to this being the Cyber hub.

For this position, you will be working withing the Security Governance Risk and Compliance team, helping the continued focus on the risk appetite of the organization.

Cyber Security Risk Analyst – Experience:

• Strong Stakeholder Management.
• The ability to provide expert security advice that highlights Cyber Security related risks, so risk or service owners can make well-informed and backed-up decisions.
• Demonstrable SME level expertise in respect to information security risk management processes, frameworks and procedures.
• Ensure that security policies and security controls remain appropriate and proportionate to the assessed risks.
• Previously supported Cyber Risk Management, Information Security Framework, Suppliers Security Auditing, Threat, Incident Response and Auditing.

Cyber Security Risk Analyst – Desired:

• A security related certification, I.e., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, ISO27001 Lead Auditor or Lead Implementer, CISMP, Data Protection Practitioner, IRM Cert, Digital Risk Certificate, FAIR Analysis Fundamentals/FAIR Analyst.
• Knowledge of UK Government Security Policy Framework, International Information Assurance Standards, e.g., ISO 27001, DPA, NIST, ISF Standard of good practice.
• Knowledge of application, infrastructure and networking security controls.
