Data Protection Officer

Marcus Donald and I are looking to speak to an experienced Data Protection Officer with good GDPR experience to join a new client within the NFP space. This is a great opportunity for someone with 2-3 years’ experience, who is looking to stay hands on and upskill themselves all whilst doing some amazing world for great causes.
 
* Remote Working (occasional travel into office to meet up with the team) *
 
Data Protection Officer – Responsibilities:
 

• Oversee the Company’s UK GDPR’s compliance activities
• Advising and investigating potential Data Protection Breaches
• Respond to DSARs and DPIAs
• Ensure data breaches are investigated and remedial actions are taken
• Ensure the compliance of policies with applicable laws and regulations

 
Data Protection Officer – Required:

• 2-3 years’ experience in Data Protection
• An in-depth knowledge of Data Protection laws
• Comprehensive knowledge of GDPR / FOI
• Experience of providing Data Protection and compliance advice
• Ensure the compliance of policies with applicable laws and regulations
