Description

Marcus Donald are currently looking for x2 Business Analysts to join an Energy firm. You will be part of a high performing, multi-disciplinary team using agile methodologies in a fast-moving environment, the ability to work at pace is essential.
 
You will work with multi-disciplinary agile teams, internal stakeholders, third party development partners and external stakeholders  to deliver regulatory changes on our environmental scheme.
 
You will be expected to have an inquiring mind; somebody who readily gains rapport with others who isn’t afraid to encourage people to think about their work from perspectives that may not come naturally to them
 
**  £450 - £550 P/D / Inside IR35 **
** 80% remote /  1 day a week in Canary Wharf **
 
Business Analyst – Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and analyse problems and issues that may affect the successful adoption of change initiatives.
  • Apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills responsible for ensuring that the team’s plans and objectives are achieved.
  • Identify and analyse problems and issues that may affect the successful adoption of change initiatives.
  • Analyse business requirements and user needs to agree user stories and technical specifications and plans, drawing on input from specialist colleagues within the program
  • Work in an agile way and to do so closely with colleagues and the agile team.

Business Analyst – Required

  • Extensive experience working in an agile, multidisciplinary, collaborative team environment.
  • Proven experience in software development lifecycle
  • Experience of stakeholder management and engagement, the ability to fully understand the business’ needs.
  • The ability to demonstrate expertise in various analysis techniques and methodologies 

Business Analyst – Desirable:

  • Experience or understanding of GDS Guidelines & principles
  • Experience in User Research and User Centered design practices
