Network Security Engineer

Marcus Donald are looking for a Network Security Engineer (Cisco) to undertake an exciting new role within an experienced Networking Team for a large MSP. This is a great opportunity for someone who really wants to grow within their career and push on to the next level by being supported in regards to certifications and progression.

Alongside having the opportunity to work with Senior Engineers and you will be working with new and exciting tooling that will be consistently improve upon throughout your time with the business.

*Hybrid working – 2-3 days per week in the office*

Network Security Engineer – Responsibilities:

• Provide 3rd line technical support by effectively troubleshooting, diagnosing & resolving incidents for all Cisco network and security incidents
• Take the technical lead on any routing and switching infrastructure related issues
• Network design and implement configuration changes
• Knowledge share with the wider team

Network Security Engineer – Desirable:

• Cisco certified (CCNA or CCNP)
• ASA firewall
• Experience with F5 Networks

This is a very exciting role and for the right person can offer a lot of growth. Existing Cisco networking skills are a must however, that real passion for growth and the willingness to learn and grow within the business is most important!
