Marcus Donald are currently looking for a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to join a popular Financial Services organisation within their beautiful offices in Poland!
 
* Open to either CoE or B2B & 100% remote working for Polish residents *
 
We are looking for a highly self-motivated hands-on Sr Cloud Engineer who would focus on our clients’ cloud infrastructure architecture and build framework. You will be part of the cloud engineering team architecting various solutions for business requirements within different product offerings.
 
The team is responsible for ensuring cloud solutions that deliver Greater Reliability & Resilience, High Performance, High Availability and Scalability.
 
Senior AWS Cloud Engineer - Responsibilities:
 

• Deliver critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security.
• Administer AWS infrastructure.
• Engineer network solutions in AWS and establish connectivity to data centers.
• Engineer storage solutions, content replication, meet performance requirements.
• Deploy managed services in AWS for Kafka, Elasticsearch, API Gateway etc.
• Orchestrate container deployment using ECS, EKS, Docker
• Responsible for supporting a large-scale deployment and all underlying systems related to supporting cloud computing workloads and IT project deployment.
• Works on problems of critical and high severity where analysis of problems or application functionality requires a review of a relevant dependency factors across systems, infrastructure, network, application, database, data, and protocols.

 
Senior AWS Cloud Engineer - Technical:

• Experience in infrastructure design/implementation that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position.
• Experience administering a Kubernetes cluster in a production environment.
• Strong Implementation experience in AWS services (e.g., EC2, ECS, ELB, RDS, EFS, EBS, Route53, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, CloudWatch, Lambda, S3)
• Expertise experience in container platform infrastructure in AWS (EKS, ECS)
• Senior level experience managing and administering Linux/Windows based systems.

 
Senior AWS Cloud Engineer - Desired:

• Ability to code/script in Python/Shell/PowerShell Language.
• Strong CloudFormation or Terraform knowledge (YAML and/or JSON).
• Experience delivering projects via Agile methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
