Senior React Developer

Marcus Donald is currently working with a leading Global financial Services organisation on a search to find a Senior React Developer who has in depth knowledge JavaScript, TypeScript and Single Page Applications.

**100% Remote working available**
 
You will be working closely with the business, product owners and global colleagues, building strong working relationships with key business users within an Agile environment. Senior React Developer – Responsibilities:

• Learn the codebase and continually improve your coding skills
• Assume an ownership to progress projects from conception through to the production within agreed project deadlines
• Technical design and timely implementation of code changes and various system enhancements to trading platforms according to technical specifications
• Perform analysis and resolution of production application/system issues
• Participate in Agile team and all stages of the development lifecycle (analysis, design, implementation, unit/integration testing)
• Perform analysis and resolution of production application/system issues
• Research and implement new technologies autonomously

Senior React Developer – Essential:

• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and React
• HTML5
• Web Sockets
• Rest
• SOLID principles
• Unit testing – Jest or Enzyme

Senior React Developer – Desirable:

• Knowledge of spread betting or financial derivative trading
• GIT source control
• Object-Oriented Programming (C#, Java etc.)
• Common architectural design patterns
• Containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
• JIRA and Confluence
