As a lead Software Engineer, you’ll be hands-on pushing best practice engineering processes and approaches, and driving the capabilities of the platform, ensuring continuous product improvement and ongoing development of engineers through coaching, mentoring, and pairing.

Lead Software Engineer responsibilities:

• Work as part of an enthusiastic and motivated agile development team that takes pride in delivering high-quality software into production
• Take a test first approach from business requirements through to code
• You will continually develop and improve our code and technology, whilst playing a leadership in shaping our technical solutions
• Writing high quality code to drive company growth and effectiveness of the buying and merchandising teams who use our software
• Working along site the Engineering Manager to develop and grow our people
• Join our regular Tech Develops days to learn new things, take part in internal and external hackathons, share your knowledge, and help to drive improvements in engineering

Lead Software Engineer Skills:

• Latest versions of .NET Framework. .NET Standard and .NET Core (C#)
• Azure Service Bus
• Azure Cosmos DB, SQL DB
• ReactJs
• GitHub, Azure DevOps pipelines
• ATDD/BDD
• Scrum/Kanban
• Devops
