.NET Developer

Marcus Donald is currently looking for a .Net Developer with strong .NET / C# experience to join a market-leading high-growth business in Glasgow. It is a hugely exciting time to join the business who are now keen to add multiple experienced .NET Developers to their growing team.

* Initial 6-month contract (rolling) - Inside IR35 - £500 per day*
** Hybrid Working - Just 1 day per week in GLASGOW office **

You will be joining a Digital Solutions team who provide Software Development and Support Services. Working closely with Project Managers, (providing a technical and application perspective throughout the project lifecycle) you will be developing and supporting applications across the business using Microsoft .NET (C#), SQL Server Development & ASP.Net MVC.

.Net Developer – Responsibilities:

• Working with project managers, technical leads, and subject matter experts to develop, maintain & support key applications
• Technical ownership of application requirements
• Writing and maintain unit & integration tests
• Working with build & release pipelines
• Write code according to standards & security review tools
• Work within the delivery team providing a technical and application perspective throughout, in an Agile manner
• Suggest and implement improvements to the application development process, such as continuous integration, automation of build, deploy and test etc.

.Net Developer – Technical:

• Microsoft .NET (C#) / .Net Core
• SQL Server Development
• ASP.Net MVC
• Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Entity Framework
• Continuous Integration, build and deployment automation
• Version Control tools and workflows (TFS, GIT)
• Agile Methodologies

.Net Developer – Desired:

• Knowledge of; CI/CD pipelines, Microservices, Azure DevOps, Azure Cloud & Containerisation (Docker)
• A degree and a technical qualification (e.g., MCAD, MCSD, MCTS)
