Platform Engineer

Marcus Donald are currently on the lookout for a Platform Engineer to join an upcoming and exciting Technology Firm based in London who are looking to grow their Platform Engineering team.
 
** 6-month contract / Inside IR35 / £550 - £650 PD **
** Hybrid Working – 2/3 Days a week in a Farringdon-Based Office **
 
You will join the Platform Engineering team to extend and mature the infrastructure to be more operationally excellent, secure, reliable, performant, and scalable. Alongside working with the Engineering team to evolve our Continuous Delivery capability
 
Platform Engineer – Experience Required:

• 4 years of Cloud Infrastructure experience
• Minimum 1 years of Google Cloud Platform experience
• In depth experience of operating an on-line public facing technology platform
• Worked successfully with offshore teams

Platform Engineer – Technical Expertise required:

• Any combination of: Linux, Docker, Nginx, Google Cloud SQL, Stackdriver/Zabbix, Terraform, Argo CD and Google Kubernetes Engine
• CI/CD pipeline platforms such as Jenkins or Github CI
• Knowledge of VPCs, Firewall, Cloud NATs, VPNs, Load Balancing and Container Registry.
