Information Security Manager

Marcus Donald is looking for an Information Security Manager to work for a well-established Media organisation.

**This Is A Fully Remote Opportunity**

**Contract INSIDE IR35 – good opportunity to be extended**

You will be responsible for managing Information Security and IT compliance in the UK and delivering security policies and controls from relevant regulatory requirements. You will also be maintaining parts of the IT compliance framework and other ISMS documentation, measuring the effectiveness of controls, and assessing the implementation in the business.

Information Security Manager – Responsibilities:

• Maintaining parts of the IT compliance framework and other ISMS documentation
• Managing external audits by regulatory bodies and other auditors.
• Supporting 1st Line of Defense with IT compliance assessments and IT risk analysis
• consulting on cyber security and IT compliance
• Ensure security risk and controls are appropriately designed, tested and evidenced
• Deliver information security projects
• Drive compliance throughout the business

Information Security Manager – Requirements:

• Experience managing an ISMS.
• Strong understanding of Information Assurance.
• 4+ Years’ experience in an Information Security Role.
• Expertise within Information Security Standards.
• Strong Stakeholdermanagement.
• Experience in areas such as third party security, governance and vulnerability management
