A core client of ours are looking for a ‘Power Apps champion’ who has demonstrable experience of the software development lifecycle, to join the group and provide guidance and technically own it!

Power Apps SME – Responsibilities:

• Develop and support technology products and digital services (Power Apps)
• Provide specialist support and guidance on the PowerApps products/services
• Champion and implement best practice to improve the DevOps flow of the PowerApps area
• Responsible for end-to-end software development life cycle of products and services
• Maintain day-to-day relationships with Engineering Governance, Architecture and Support teams
• Knowledge of SharePoint – incredibly useful

Power Apps SME – Technical:

• Thorough understanding of Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps primarily), and architecture of components
• Strong Experience in using both PowerApps, Power Automate, Dataverse and SharePoint
• Experience in creating complex PowerApps applications, including familiarity with plug-ins
• The design, development and maintenance of applications using Power Apps within an agile environment
• Experience of managing Understanding of Active Directory concepts
• Hands on experience in Microsoft .NET development
• Experience of working with or knowledge of agile software development methodologies

Power Apps SME – Desirable:

• Understanding and knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash)
• Good understanding of MS SQL and similar relational databases
• Experience in using Azure DevOps Pipelines
• Experience in administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, GitLab or Jenkins
