Java Developer

Marcus Donald is currently looking for a Java Developer to join a financial organisation. You’ll directly contribute to business strategy, while taking ownership of a diverse range of projects utilising the latest technologies.

* Initial 6 month contract (rolling) - Inside IR35 - £500-600 per day*
** Hybrid Working - 1 or 2 days per week in the London office **

We are looking for someone who would like the opportunity to drive DevOps excellence at the cutting edge.

Java Developer – Skills & Responsibilities: 

• 4+ years’ Java experience
• Exposure to Domain Driven Design and Test-Driven Development
• Exposure to any automation tooling.
• SDLC (E.g.: Jira, Trello, Git, Wiki, …)
• CI/CD (E.g.: Arturo, Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab, Argos CD, …)
• Infra as Code (E.g.: Bamboo Specs, Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform, …)
• Cluster Tooling (E.g.: K8s, Spark, Ignite, …)
• Exposure to any public cloud environment
• Great communicators who have an opinion
• Degree in IT, Engineering or Computer Science
