Cyber Security Project Manager

Marcus Donald are currently working with an award winning Insurance firm who are now looking to onboard a Cyber Security Project Manager. This role will allow an experienced Cyber Security PM to come into a small – but growing SOC and revolutionise the way the business handles their Security & Response.

This is an amazing opportunity to get involved and be the core decision maker for the direction of the Security Operations within the company… doing everything from developing roadmaps, hiring staff, delivering projects and engaging with stakeholders.

Type: 6 months rolling (expected 12+ month)
Day Rate: £500 – £600 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: London – Hybrid (3 days in for first month, then 2)

Cyber Security Project Manager – Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all stages of development and implementation of several IT / OT improvement projects at various locations at any one time
• manage the deployment of a new Privileged Access Management tool
• Run large, or multiple smaller, CyberArk projects on both on-premise & cloud
• Identify potential areas of conflict across workstreams, business units or between projects and resolve or raise appropriately
• Assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority to project personnel.

Cyber Security Project Manager – Requirements:

• A minimum of three years of demonstrated competency in a Cyber Project Management role involving implementations of new technologies such as SIEM tools, Vulnerability Management tools or PAM tools.
• Excellent project management and planning skills, with experience of successfully delivering security change into operational, customer focussed environments
• Ability to deliver high quality outcomes with an agreed timescale, balancing multiple conflicting requirements.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Liaise with the business stakeholders (CISO, SOC, CTO, Operations), gaining the go forward decisions and signoffs, for planned and unplanned requests for improvements.
