Description

Marcus Donald are currently working with a Global Investment Bank who are looking to onboard a System Support Team Lead to guide their well-established System Support Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technical support analyst looking to step up into a lead position or a current Team Lead looking to work for a giant in the Banking Industry.
Although this is a Team Lead position, you will remain relatively very hands on and lead by example by providing support across the broad range of technologies that are deployed within the organisation.
Financial experience & Trade Floor Support experience is essential. Hybrid working – however predominately based in the City (at least 3 days per week).

System Support Team Lead - Responsibilities:

  • Work with external vendors to triage market connectivity issues through to resolution
  • Liaise with 3rd line support teams abroad to ensure prompt case resolution
  • Monitor team progress toward timely delivery of goals and ensured deadlines were successfully met.
  • Assist management with hiring processes, disciplinary procedures and new team member training
  • Lead & be responsible for and train team of System Support Analysts within the team
  • Provide regular status updates to customers, stakeholders and management during extended troubleshooting efforts.

System Support Team Lead - Technical Requirements:

  • Able to perform Desktop Support for day-to-day user incidents
  • Knowledge of Market Data applications and associated post trade platforms (Thomson Reuters Eikon/Bloomberg/Fidessa/ Factset/Datastream).
  • Extensive VDI technical support experience
  • Knowledge/ understanding of ITIL framework and working with SLAs
  • Competent with working with ServiceNow
  • Windows 10 troubleshooting skills
  • Understand SCCM deployment methodology, software version control to end users
