Senior Software Engineer

Marcus Donald are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a key client for us, a rapidly growing organisation offering a range of SaaS solutions to users in over 150 countries.
It is a really great time to join the business mainly due to the fact they have demonstrated huge growth, with a massive growth of nearly 120% throughout the last two years!

Hybrid role – Ideally 1 day per week in the City (London) however, at least 2 days per month is possible and a minimum requirement.

Senior Software Engineer – Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Head of Engineering and the wider team to deliver technical requirements in the platform
• Support & maintain existing applications
• Innovate our new platform using the latest technologies and best practises
• Research and develop new technologies

 Senior Software Engineer – Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience
• Proven experience of developing enterprise applications
• Experience in working across the full development stack including; C#, .Net Framework/Core and Entity Framework
• Good understanding of databases, both SQL Server & NoSQL

 Senior Software Engineer – Desirable:

• Microsoft Azure experience
• Experience with Git/DevOps.
• Understanding of Agile Methodologies.
• HTML5/CSS, SPA Frameworks, JavaScript, Visual Studio/VS Code, Unit Testing
