Information Security Officer

Marcus Donald and I are looking to speak to an experienced Information Security professional with hands on experience for a 6-month contract, Outside IR35. We are working with a large Insurance client looking to expand their team in London.

Although the Head Office is in London, this role is fully remote.

You will be apart of the team of the practical team who responds to security incidents throughout the organisation.

Information Security Officer – Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise in compliance programs for regulatory and compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS/PSD2/ISO27001)
• Creating, reviewing, and maintaining security policy, standards, and procedures
• Coordinating internal and external reviews for security frameworks
• Co-ordinate risk assessments and business impact analysis
• Defining and running security processes
• Implementing new ways to automate and improve security across the business

Information Security Officer – Required:

• 5 years’ experience in Information Security
• 3 years’ experience in the Insurance sector
• Strong understanding of PCI-DSS, GDPR, and other regulatory frameworks
• Working experience of ISO27001 and Data Protection Legislation
• Strong understanding of advanced threat detections
• Demonstrable experience in a role that delivers Information Security
