Security Support Analyst (Firewall)

Marcus Donald are hoping to build and add to a Cyber Security team and are looking to speak with experienced IT Support Analysts (2nd Line) with at least 6 months experience working with Firewalls (no preference of Firewall required).

This is a great opportunity for someone working within Desktop Support with rounded IT knowledge looking to take a step up into the exciting world of Cyber Security – all you need is experience working with and managing Firewalls. A lot of time will be put into your Cyber development and there is budget for courses & L&D available for the right person. GREAT OPPORUNITY!

Security Support Analyst (Firewall) - Technical Experience Required:

• Demonstrate an interest in Cyber Security
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills to isolate problems and implement solutions
• Firewall knowledge & experience (ideally Check Point but no preference required)
• Familiarity of Microsoft technologies
• Strong verbal and written communication

Security Support Analyst (Firewall) - Responsibilities:

• Provide protection against cyber attacks and cyber terrorism
• Support a multitude of technologies such as Cisco, Check Point and Microsoft
• Working within a Network & Security Support team providing technical support
• After 12 months you will be taking the technical lead on any Check Point related issues

This is very exciting role and for the right person can offer a lot of growth. Commercial Firewall usage is a must however, that real passion for Cyber Security and the willingness to learn and grow within the business is most important!
