Senior DevOps Engineer

Marcus Donald is currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer for one of our key clients within the Trading / Financial sector. Therefore, if you are an experience DevOps professional with a strong Linux & AWS background, please get in touch!

With an infrastructure partly located on-premise, in data centres, but rapidly migrating to AWS this is a great opportunity to join and assist with long-term strategic goals!

Why Join? You will get the chance to be part of a team that is building an entire new multi-environment infrastructure from scratch in the AWS Cloud following the IaC (Terraform) approach!

Senior DevOps Engineer – Requirements: 

• Currently using many AWS services, Terraform, Ansible, Python, Linux, and Windows servers
• Looking for someone who has previously or is currently responsible for managing a similar type of environment supporting and furthering the architecture and design and ideally have had previous experience of working with AWS
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar role

Senior DevOps Engineer – Technical:

• Demonstrate competent skills and knowledge in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible and Linux
• Experience with multiple AWS services
• Terraform in production with multiple environments
• Experience with Packer, Ansible or similar
• Python or Bash scripting
• CI/CD implementation
• Docker experience, container orchestration experience (AWS ECS, Kubernetes)

Senior React Developer – Desirable:

• RDBMS and NoSQL databases administration skills
• Understanding of microservices architecture concepts
• RabbitMQ
