Description
One of London’s market-leading businesses is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to lead and assist with migrating on-prem services to M365 and Azure, whilst supporting the organisations physical and cloud systems.
**Hybrid Position – 3 days from home / 2 days in office (SW London)**
Someone with a good understanding of Server and Data Centre set-up/configuration and excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 is ideal here. It is a really great company to work for and would be a great stepping stone for someone looking to grow within an amazing environment and solid Infra team.
Infrastructure Engineer - Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and assist with migrating on-prem services to M365 and Azure
- Managing devices and software on SCCM (Microsoft System Center Manager)
- Configuration and management of Microsoft 365 management tools
- Managing the Windows Server (Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, DFS) and server virtualization through VMware
- Manage and monitor site configurations, including IP addresses, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi access points, switches, MPLS
- Domain management; DNS, DHCP, web filtering, VPN
Infrastructure Engineer – Technical Skills:
- Solid experience - Windows Server
- Microsoft 365 Administration- Endpoint management, InTune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Azure
- SCCM - Creating software packages as well as operating systems and patch deployment
- Good understanding of virtualisation – VMWare
Infrastructure Engineer – Advantageous:
- Telephony infrastructure - BYOD
- Experience with Tcaas (Teams-Calling) and Ccaas (Contact Center) management platforms
