Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Marcus Donald are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a Global Trading organisation with an amazing reputation. This is a great opportunity for an Infrastructure to join the business at an amazing time and period of growth and expansion.

**100% Remote – Full home-based position**

The perfect candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and would demonstrate competent skills and knowledge in storage, virtualisation, Windows Server and Linux. You will be majority focused on project work with the split being 80% (Project) & 20% (BAU).

Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Responsibilities:

• You will report to the Infrastructure team lead and work with the Head of IT Operations to achieve the long-term strategic goals of the company whilst supporting and maintaining a robust and stable estate.

Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Required Skills:

• Linux (Debian) and/or Windows Server experience
• Virtualisation (VMware)
• Microsoft 365 services
• Cloud Experience – AWS Cloud preferred
• Scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Terraform, Python etc.)
• Good IT Networking experience - TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, IP Whitelisting etc 
• Basic Firewall management

Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Desirable Skills:

• Monitoring (SolarWinds etc.)
• Experience AWS Network fundamentals
• Firewall – Palo Alto
• VCP certified
