Description
Marcus Donald are currently working with a well-known and very popular government organisation who are looking for a Head of Digital (Product), someone with extensive Product Management experience.
Contract - 6 months
Day rate - £650 - £750 (inside IR35)
Location - Fully remote, however, minimal days in London here and there may be required
You will need to have extensive experience with Delivery Management, Product Management, Process Design, Business Analysis, Quality Management and Continuous Improvement and a solid understanding of the techniques, models and best practice in these areas.
Knowledge of GDS (design standards) and understanding of DDAT framework is advantageous.
You will be managing a team of 30, so experience managing large teams is a prerequisite.
Head of Digital (Product) – Responsibilities:
- Work alongside other Heads of teams you will share responsibility for implementing a strategic approach and delivering a new product throughout the business
- Manage a team of approximately 30 - Ensuring the development of staff and addressing any skill gaps
- Support the Head of Business and Technical Architecture in establishing and maintaining a digital / technology architecture
- Improve both the efficiency and the effectiveness of the Delivery Management, Product, Process, and Business Analysis function
- Build Product confidence amongst the wider corporate community
- Maintain a Delivery Management Framework and approach
- Ensure best practice remains consistent in Process Design
- Established, develop and encourage Continuous Improvement
The new Head of Digital (Product) key deliverables will be to plan, direct, coordinate and lead activities within the Delivery Management, Product, Process, Business Analysis and Architecture Teams to ensure that all goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed quality, timeframe, and funding parameters.
