3rd Line Support Engineer

Marcus Donald are looking for a 3rd Line Support Engineer to join a key client (IT Consultancy) in Berkshire.

We are looking for someone who has used Azure Active Directory and is technically experienced to own support tickets from start to closure. You will be working alongside more experienced engineers who will not only provide an escalation point for tickets but also show you how to solve the problem yourself (effectively providing on the job training for a variety of different technical skills).

**Flexible working available – Hybrid (2 days in office, 3 days from home)**

3rd Line Support Engineer – Skills / Experience required (Personal):

• At least 6 months providing 3rd Line Support
• Excellent customer service with a willingness to help and solve problems
• A self-starter willing to take ownership of tasks is essential for this role
• Well-presented and professional
• Ability to write concise documentation
• A driving license is essential for occasions when a site visit is required

3rd Line Support Engineer - Skills required (Technical):

• Office 365 and Azure administration and troubleshooting
• Understanding and proven experience with Windows server and desktop support
• Understanding of the common Backup (including Veeam) and Anti-Virus products (mainly Sophos)
• Understanding of networking technologies; firewalls ect…
• Desktop troubleshooting including Outlook, printer, login and local computer problems
