SOC Manager

We at Marcus Donald currently have an excellent opening for an experienced, competent, and ambitious individual to for a role in an ever-growing competitor within the financial sector. Our client is a well-established company within their given industry on a world-wide scale and this is an amazing opportunity for the right person to become a real asset and make their mark. The high-performing, success driven individual will lead the junior/mid-level staff to ensure the company’s Security Operations Centre maintains an efficient in all areas.

Must have SOC Management experience.

• London / Remote
• 6 months
• £750 – £900 per day

 Technical Understandings: SOC Manager

• In depth knowledge of SIEM tools (Spunk, LogRhythm, QRadar)
• Expansive understanding and experience in network security devices, firewalls, and IPS/IDS
• Ability to read and understand system data, including, but not limited to, security event logs, system logs, and firewall logs.
• Knowledge of risk management techniques.
• Demonstrate an understanding of Incident Response procedures

Essential Requirements: SOC Manager

• You will be able to develop information security plans, strategy, and policy to support and align with organisational information security missions and initiatives
• Generate contingency plans for realistic and damaging scenarios
• Responsible for regular liaison and engagement with company management teams
• Provide leadership, guidance, and technical expertise to deliver a professional service
• Able to supervise the SOC team, provide technical guidance and manage financial activities.
