Application Security Engineer

Marcus Donald and I are looking to speak with Application Security Engineer. We are currently working with a large Financial Services organisation to help them grow their team in London.

Based in London – WFH availability

Responsibilities & Job Role:

• Assuring the security of the applications they develop
• Implementing their application security strategy
• Threat modelling

Technical Skills Required:

• Good knowledge of scripting and programming languages (Python, Go, .NET etc).
• Strong knowledge of API security.
• Good understanding on modern CI/CD pipeline development practices and building security automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with applicable standards, methods, models, and approaches (OWASP, CWEs, etc.).
• Well-versed in web application design, penetration testing and threat modelling.
