Data Protection Officer – Contract

Marcus Donald and I are looking to speak to an experienced Data Protection professional with GDPR experience to join a 6-month contract, outside IR35 We are working with a large financial client looking to expand their team in London.

Although the Head Office is in London, this role is fully remote.

You will be apart of the practical team that responds to data breaches alongside dealing with DPIAs and DSARs.

Data Protection Officer – Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Company’s UK GDPR’s compliance activities
• Advising and investigating potential Data Protection Breaches
• Respond to DSARs and DPIAs
• Ensure data breaches are investigated and remedial actions are taken
• Ensure the compliance of policies with applicable laws and regulations

 Data Protection Officer – Required: 

• 5 years’ experience in Data Protection
• An in-depth knowledge of Data Protection laws
• Comprehensive knowledge of GDPR / FOI
• Experience of providing Data Protection and compliance advice
• Ensure the compliance of policies with applicable laws and regulations

 You will be joining an already established Data Protection team in a chilled yet results-driven environment.
