Marcus Donald is currently searching for an Application Support Analyst to join an Application Operations team and for one of the market leading and most innovative Insurance firms in Central London. This Application Support Analyst will be tasked with providing tier 1 support to the 500+ internal employees as well as external stakeholders who rely on the businesses B2B applications.

The application support required will be focused purely on bespoke applications built by the software engineering team that consists of 20+ Software Engineers and SDETs.

Supporting both client and broker facing platforms, you will manage the progress of internal referrals, updating and amending data where necessary via internal systems.

This role will suit a bright and enthusiastic individual that desires a future career in systems analysis, application support or software engineering. It will offer an opportunity to see the end-to-end systems project lifecycle, interacting with both end users and developers. Previous experience in Application Support is required along with moderate/strong SQL skills. In return, the opportunity to be trained in more advanced levels of web development with Microsoft technologies is available.

Essential skills for the Application Support Analyst:

• At least 3 years’ experience in Application Support
• Advanced excel data manipulation and presentation skills
• SQL
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Effective communication
• Great collaborative skills
• SQL qualification(s) (desirable)

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 Per Annum
Location: Central London
Start Date: ASAP Ideally but will wait up to 3 months for the right profile
